FUNDING & SCHOLARSHIPS

Funding routes to explore

  • UKIERI — grant funding routes may be available for joint mobility and research programmes.
  • Turing Scheme — UK government mobility funding that may support short-term placements.
  • Going Global Partnerships — the scheme behind 100+ institutional collaborations in the past three years.
  • Scholarship benchmarks — for example, the £4,000 model used in the UEA–NorthCap dual-degree partnership.

Funding routes may include the above; nothing here is a guaranteed scholarship or funding award for any individual applicant. Confirm eligibility and availability with the relevant scheme and your chosen programme.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to already be enrolled at a UK or Indian university?+

It depends on the programme's partnership model. Dual/joint-degree and twinning routes typically start with direct enrolment; mobility + internship routes are usually bolted onto an existing home degree.

Will I graduate with a UK degree?+

Outcomes depend on the specific partnership model — dual/joint-degree routes are designed to award credentials from both institutions; other formats award a single jointly recognised credential or certificate. Check each programme page for detail.

Can I combine a certificate with a degree programme?+

Yes — the Modular Bridge Certificates are designed to stack alongside a flagship programme, or to be taken as a standalone upskill.
